The Artist

Jasper Fierlinger (B. 2003), is a New Zealand born multidisciplinary artist based in Hawkes Bay, NZ. His photographic work is characterized by romantic and antiquated scenes, inspired by the classic nature of the medium from having worked alongside Magnum Photos in Paris, France. For the Artist, photographing is both an act of revelation and creation: an effort to capture the everpresent surreality woven into the world, while also cultivating these scenes, gestures, and characters into a metaphorical 'play'.
